About Us
Parnells started in the Castor & Wheel business in 1951 in Dublin when George and Muriel Parnell took on the agency for Flexello castors in Ireland. They built up a solid customer base over the years based on the good quality products they sold and the excellent customer service they adhered to.
Their son Leslie Parnell took over the company in 1981 continuing to grow the business while adding a large range of component parts and trailer parts. Leslie’s strong work ethic meant that the company continued to thrive and the customer base continued to grow.
In 2003 Parnells added a new product range in ‘Specialist tyres’. This large and diverse product group consists of tyres for Wheelbarrows, Grass Care Equipment, Utility Vehicles and Trailers. Working closely with the manufacturer, Parnells were quickly able to gain a foothold in the market and this range has developed into one of the strongest performing product groups.
In 2016 Richard Parnell took over the company as the third generation of the Parnell family to manage the company. With strong investment in office & warehouse space, increased stockholding and enhanced IT and EPR systems along with a strong corporate structure, Richard has ensured the company has a solid foundation to build into the future.

We maintain large stocks in our warehouses in Dublin, Ireland.
