Castors are wheel assemblies fitted to the underside of equipment, trolleys, furniture, racking and machinery to make it mobile. Swivel castors rotate 360° around the mounting plate, allowing the equipment to change direction in any plane. Fixed castors only roll in a straight line. Most trolleys and equipment use a combination, typically two fixed and two swivel, for stable, controlled steering.

Yes. We stock castors with a range of braking options including total-lock brakes (locks both wheel and swivel), wheel-only brakes, and directional locks. Brake type should be matched to load weight and how often the equipment needs to be stationary.
