Frequently Asked Questions

Levelling feet are adjustable mounts fitted to the base of machinery, equipment, cabinets, and stainless steel furniture to compensate for uneven floors and distribute load evenly. They're essential for stabilising equipment on factory floors and in food-processing environments.

Yes — we supply hygienic levelling feet in stainless steel (304 and 316 grade) suitable for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical production. Our range includes options from NGI and other partners, designed for full washdown environments with no dirt-trapping crevices.

Levelling feet are the adjustable base mount — they typically have a threaded stem that screws into a fixed point on the machine or cabinet. Threaded inserts are the receiving component that's pressed or screwed into the leg of the equipment, providing the thread for the levelling foot to engage with.

Divide the total weight of the equipment by the number of feet, then build in a safety margin (typically 1.5x to 2x). Also consider dynamic load (vibrations, operating forces) and the base material — softer floors may need a wider base plate to spread the load.
